Renzo Negrini is a PhD researcher in precision agriculture and serves as the Director Assistant at the University of Minnesota’s Precision Agriculture Center.
He leads innovative research focused on on-farm precision nutrient management, directly assisting farmers, researchers, and companies in testing and optimizing existing strategies. Renzo is recognized as one of the top 10 graduate students worldwide in precision agriculture. He has significant experience in the agricultural sectors of Brazil, Central Europe, and the USA, working closely with farmers, consultants, and policymakers to create and apply sustainable, data-driven strategies.
Renzo engages in outreach initiatives, including global priorities discussions at COP 28 in Dubai. He integrates science-based methods, practical field experience, advanced data science, and machine learning to improve agricultural productivity, accessibility, profitability, and sustainability. His work focuses on sustainable nutrient management, addressing food security and environmental preservation through practical solutions for society. He is dedicated to empowering students and leaders globally to foster positive change in agriculture and promote social and intellectual growth.
