About the Speaker
Dijonn is the Founder and CEO of Savvy Guest and Young Graduate, who for decades has committed her work to promoting equality in education and employment. In May 2022, she was the recipient of a Department for Education (DfE) recognition from Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, for services to Education and Children Services. Endorsing her commitment to close the education gap for young people and the career service gap for adults. Her undeniably skills in critical thinking have garnered international support and credibility, with a position as Session Chair for the World Assessment Council, chairing a panel of international educators from across the globe. Highly respected in her area of expertise by local governments and NGO’s she has taken part in several research studies. These include; Barriers to Inclusion within GM’s – Greater Manchester innovation ecosystem and Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce appointed by the Department for Education to lead the development of the Local Skills Improvement Plan (LSIP) for Greater Manchester. Her wealth of experience and passion for business and education secured appointments of Local Advisory Board Member for two national charities, Young Enterprise and Career Ready which essentially offers a platform to actively help shape and influence the curriculum within UK education.
